We believe in the full inerrancy of Scripture; in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit; in the virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, physical resurrection and visible, personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ; in salvation by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ; in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit expressed in His fruit, gifts and power; in New Testament evangelism, consecrated Christian living, the local church, the ministry of reconciliation and the urgency of fulfi lling the Great Commission.

Our Advice for Changing Your Church Home
In 1 Corinthians 12:12-27, we are told that God places individuals in the local church. Their unique gift is necessary for the body to be healthy and effective. People choose a church home for the benefits they receive and the service they contribute, therefore:
Only leave a church
• because God has given you a definite release and direction. Seek confirmation from respected Christian leaders before moving.
• Be sure you move in the timing of the Lord. (1 Cor. 12:12-27; Acts 13:1-3)
• Never leave a church because of an offense or hurt. Go through the proper channels to try to heal and restore relationships. (Matt. 18:15-17)
• It is never right to divide a church. If you feel there is something wrong or out of order: first pray and ask God to reveal your own heart motivations. Repent if necessary. (1 Cor. 1:10-11; 3:1-4; Titus 3:9-11)
• Pray for the leadership. Remember that God has called you to submit to their authority, because they watch out for your soul. (Heb. 13:17)
• Go to the leader in a spirit of humility and love and share what God has given you. (James 3:13-18; 1 Samuel 26:8-11)
• Ask the church leadership for their blessing to send you as you transition to a new local church. (Acts 13:1-3)
