Our Values

We Believe

... the highest aspiration of a person's life is to love Jesus Christ with all one's heart, mind, soul, and strength.

... heaven and hell are real. Everyone will spend eternity somewhere. Jesus is the only way to heaven. The number one priority of the church is to reach people at home and around the world, using every possible means before it is too late.

... the local church is the family and we should love one another with the sincere love of Christ, no matter what.

...the Bible is the absolute truth and should be the basis for all decisions.

... that marriage is ordained by God, and is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Any sexual relationship outside of marriage is wrong.

... that people at all stages of life are valuable to God and should be treated with dignity and respect.

... every Christian should be submitted and committed to a local church and its' leadership.

... in tithing a tenth of our income and in giving offerings to support the work of the local church.

... every Christian has gifts and abilities and should serve in the local church.

... in living a Holy life, which exemplifies Christ's character and Biblical teaching in all aspects of life.

...the church should be racially and culturally diverse and must stay culturally relevant without violating Biblical absolutes.

... every person has a God given destiny to fulfill with their life.

... praise and worship should be a mix of intense, joyous praise and intimate heartfelt worship.

... everything in life should be done with integrity and excellence.

Changing Your Church Home

1. Only leave a church because God has given you a definite release and direction. Be sure you move in the timing of the Lord. People are called to a local church body as members in particular. Don’t be AWOL. (1 Cor. 12:12-27; Acts 13:1-3)2. Never leave a church because of an offense or hurt. Go through the proper channels to try to heal and restore relationships.
(Matt. 18:15-17)3. It is never right to divide a church. If you feel there is something wrong or out of order, first pray and ask God to reveal your own heart motivations. Let repentance start there first if necessary. Next, pray for the leadership. Cover them, love them, support them. Then, with God’s direction, go to the leader in a spirit of humility and love and share what God has given you. (1 Peter 4:8; James 3:13-18; 1 Cor. 1:10-11; 3:1-4; Titus 3:9-11; 1 Samuel 26:8-11)4. If God has given you a definite release from the church, go to the pastor or elders and ask for their blessing to be sent. This will keep you from becoming uprooted and unfruitful and having to start all over in the new location. This also keeps you under the blessings of God.
(Acts 15:36:41)
